Dual HD Monitor Configuration for USB C Windows Laptop

Step 1: Connect the dock to your USB C devices with the USB-C cable as attached via Host 2 port.

Step 2: Connect Monitor 1 to this dock via HDMI2 port
Step 3: Connect Monitor 2 to this dock via DP port

Step 4: Connect up to 7 USB/USB C peripherals

The USB 2.0 ports are special for a wireless keyboard, mouse receiver

The USB Type C Gen 1 Is only for up to 5Gbps data transfer and charge your USB C devices

Step 5: Connect speakers, headphone, or microphone

Step 6: Attach Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for stable wired Ethernet

Note: Add an extra USB C changer(Not Included) to the "Power" the dock will run more smoothly.

Step 1: Connect the dock to your Macbook Pro/Air with the Dual USB-C cable as attached via Host1 and Host 2 port.

Step 2: Connect Monitor 1 to this dock via HDMI2 port

FAQ about this USB C Laptop Docking Station for Windows & Chrome Laptop

Q1:Why does this docking station cannot extend dual monitor when working with my MacBook?

A1: Since the MacBook does not support MST ( Multi streaming ), it can only extend one monitor when working with MacBook. If you connect dual monitor with a Mac, that would display with mirror mode.

Q2: Why all USB ports can work properly, but my display connected to HDMI ports cannot work?

A2: >1 Please make sure the USB C port of your laptop supports Alt-mode Display, power delivery and data transfer. It require a laptop that is equipped with a full-functional USB C port, which means that the USB C port should support video signal output so the monitor can work.

>2 Please make sure the connections are firm and the HDMI cable work.

>3 Please ensure your monitor and the docking station attached a power supply.

Q3: Why the docking station is attached a USB C charger but cannot charge my laptop?

A3: >1 Please make sure the USB C port of your laptop support power delivery, so it can charge your laptop.

>2 Please ensure the charger connected to the dock can work properly

Q4: Why I cannot get dual 4K resolution?

A4: (Please ensure your laptop, monitor, and HDMI cable support 4K resolution)

Please note that each HDMI port of this USB C dock support 4K resolution when connecting a single monitor, but when connecting dual external monitor, you can get one 4K resolution and one 2K resolution max.
